MSU Sexual Assault Program is now recruiting Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention (SACI) Team volunteers! The training dates for the Summer 2019 have been identified. SACI advocates provide essential crisis intervention, advocacy, and outreach services to Michigan State University (MSU) and to the greater Lansing community. To find out more about the volunteer roles please visit SACI volunteer page here. You can find the application and flyer with the mandatory training dates here.
Volunteers do not have to be current students & they do not need to be MSU affiliated. Volunteering with our program is a great way to learn practical skills and resources, meet amazing people, and positively impact social change!
For an opportunity to learn more about our training program in person, you can attend our upcoming Informational Meeting on Wednesday, May 22nd at 5pm in room 6 of the Student Services Building (on MSU campus). It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have while meeting the MSU Sexual Assault Program staff and other prospective volunteers. You can also contact Kathryn at email@example.com, the program’s volunteer coordinator. Spread the word! Invite anyone you know who may be interested to attend also. Summer 2019 training dates are below:
Sunday, June 9th from 8:30am-5pm
Wednesday, June 12th from 6pm-10pm
Saturday, June 22nd from 8:30am-5pm
